Field Service Technician (Job Code FST05) DRT is seeking a uniquely qualified individual with a background in electronics and/or computers to perform Tier 1/2 maintenance support for in-house and field-deployed DRT products. This position requires deployment to overseas locations for extended periods (90 to 100 days at a time on a rotating basis). Individual will also conduct Training in both formal and informal (mostly OJT) environments. Minimum experience requirements: 1-2 years experience in operating and/or maintaining the DRT 1000 equipment; five years electronic and/or computer experience; 3-5 years of wireless experience a plus, along with an advanced working knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) theory and application; 1-2 years experience in networking. Position also requires excellent oral and written communications skills; strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; and proficiency with MS Office Suite of programs. Benefits include working only 6 months of the year for a full year's salary. Applications Engineer (Job Code AE04) DRT is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our Field Operations Group in the implementation and operation of DRT equipment in the field. The role is part sales-engineer, part system integrator, part test-engineer, and all DRT-operator. The primary tasks of the Applications Engineer will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with DRT product end-users in order to provide specific, concise feedback on DRT product performance in the field and identify new markets of opportunity for the DRT product line. The Applications Engineer will also design and conduct DRT marketing demonstrations tailored to the operational needs of a wide variety of specific customer groups, from end-users to system integration engineers. The successful candidate can also expect to provide direct operational support to customers on short notice and develop and conduct field and operational testing of DRT products based on actual operational implementation of DRT systems by end-users. The position also involves assisting DRT staff to develop con-ops based on the realities of operational deployment of DRT systems across a wide spectrum of customers. The ideal candidate will have four years experience in signals intelligence operations as well as a basic understanding of RF and communications theory. Active and fully adjudicated TS/SCI clearance with the ability to pass a counter-intelligence polygraph is required. Candidates should have the ability to travel within the US on short notice, and a willingness to spend 6-weeks per calendar year on foreign travel. Strong Windows networking and application skills as well as outstanding oral and written communications skills are necessary.
