Software Test / Automation Engineer Requisition #: 09-1017045 Level 1/2 Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) is looking for a skilled and self motivated individual to work in our technically challenging, dynamic and growing environment. Position involves assisting in the development, maintenance and execution of automated scripts for DRT's Software Defined Radios, analyzing the results and performing system integration for DRT Software releases. Responsibilities also include assisting in the development of automation scripts, understanding manual software testing, performing automated tests and evaluating results, triage of software defects, and software development using C++, MATLAB, Ruby, VBA, and TestPartner programming languages. Proficiency in C/C++ , VBA, MATLAB, Ruby, LabVIEW, TestPartner, or other similar languages, experience with multi-threaded programming, and with Object Oriented Design (OOD) desired. Understanding of wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE), experience developing software for the Microsoft Windows and / or Linux operating system and implementing communications protocols including TCP/IP and commercial cellular air interfaces also desired. Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. HW Test Engineer Requisition #: 09-1018161 Level 2/3 Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) is looking for a skilled and self motivated individual to work in our technically challenging, dynamic and growing environment. Position involves the development, maintenance, and execution of automated functional test equipment for DRT's digital and Radio Frequency (RF) boards, modules, and systems. The position also involves analyzing test results and implementing the necessary corrective action(s) to improve efficiencies and test coverage. Responsibilities include the specification of test equipment and the development of automated test scripts, performing automated tests and evaluating results, triage of software and hardware defects, and software development using LabView. Proficiency in LabVIEW, C/C++ , MATLAB, TestPartner, or other similar languages, experience with multi-threaded programming, and with Object Oriented Design (OOD) desired. Experience in digital and RF automated testing is required. Experience with wireless and communication protocols (cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, TCP/IP) is desired. .
