Software Test Engineer (Job Code STE02)
Primary job duties and responsibilities are to perform software testing for DRT Software releases, triage software defects and maintain the Software lab. Familiarity with the workings of radio communications equipment and for software definable radios is strongly desired. Understanding of wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE) is a strong plus. 2- 4 years experience in software testing in an environment of GUI, Real-Time Embedded, and DSP Software development is required. TS/SI clearance is preferred, but not required. BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience is required. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required.
RF Test Engineer (Job Code QARFTE03)
Design, maintain and upgrade RF and digital test fixtures. Write and validate procedures for board, module and system testing. Candidate must also pa rticipate in verification process and product transition from engineering to production. Suggest test strategies and implementation with guidance from lead engineer. A wide degree of creativity and flexibility is expected. Candidate must have a familiarity with RF and Microwave tuners and tuner test techniques as well as high frequency PCB design concepts and practices. A BSEE and 3 yrs experience is required. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship Required.
