Mechanical Design Engineer (MDE05)
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics packaging in addition to BSME. Requires direct hands on experience in design of sheet metal and machined enclosures. Must be an excellent problem solver. Must be detail oriented and have a thorough and proven knowledge of manufacturing processes and design tradeoffs. This position requires hands on design of enclosures for manufacturability, including tolerance stack up. Preference will be given to candidates with strength in structural analysis and ProE CAD modeling experience. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
All positions are located in DRT's Germantown, MD facility.
