DSP Software Engineer (Job Code DSE01)
Develop advanced algorithms and software for implementation and analysis of the physical layer of wireless protocols. In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following items desired: wireless protocols (IS-136, IS-95, cdma2000, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE), C/C++, signal detection, estimation and classification, Multi User Detection, DF, channel modeling, modulation, demodulation, error control coding, cryptography and communications security, vocoders, TI C5000 and C6000 DSP families. PhD or MSEE preferred, multiple positions open at all levels of experience.Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
DSP FPGA Engineer (Job Code DFE01)
Develop advanced algorithms for implementation and analysis of the physical layer of wireless protocols. In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following items desired: wireless protocols (cdma2000, WCDMA, 802.11, 802.16, and PCM), Multi User Detection, Array Processing, spectral analysis, and Simulink. PhD or MSEE preferred, multiple positions open at all levels of experience. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
All positions are located in DRT's Germantown, MD facility.
